Our Process

We make sure we’re totally aligned before we kick anything off. It keeps the process simple, transparent, and built to move at the speed of your business.

1. Our First Hey

Most folks find us through our inquiry form or by sliding into our inbox. From there, we’ll send over a super quick questionnaire to get a pulse on your goals, your timeline, and what’s driving the project.

2. Coffee Hang & Catch Up

We’ll hop on a quick call to hear your story and understand what you need. We’ll lay out the big 3—budget, timeline, and goals—just to make sure we’re the right fit for each other. It’s totally low pressure. Grab a coffee (or an iced one, our personal choice) and let’s see if we click.

3. Our Deep Dive

Once we’ve got the big picture, we build out a formal proposal—usually in your inbox within 1 – 2 weeks.

Fair warning: they’re quite detailed, but incredibly clear. You’ll see exactly what we’re delivering, how the strategy works, and how we get from A to Z with zero surprises.

4. Making it Official

Proposal approved? Awesome. We’ll send over the contract and onboarding info to get the wheels turning. Payments go through Stripe so it's easy and secure. Then, we book your official kickoff meeting and dive straight into the fun stuff

5. Homework & The Vision

Kickoff is where we dig deep into your brand, your audience, and how everything works behind the scenes. We’re doing the heavy strategic research to back up the creative execution later. If you’re a local Ottawa brand, we love dropping by your space—it helps us see the full picture.

6. Exploring the Look

Now for the fun part. We’ll explore visual directions and moodboards to find the exact vibe for your brand identity, service experience, or packaging. Your feedback is what gets things moving here, so we schedule review days way in advance to keep things moving efficiently.

7. From Idea to Reality

Once you’ve picked a direction, we start building the asset armour. We’ll present concepts in both black & white and full colour to make sure the design works flawlessly everywhere. From a tiny digital favicon or a restaurant receipt to a massive storefront sign. We refine everything until it feels 100% right.

8. Production & Final Items

Here’s where our technical chops shine. We coordinate with printers, prep files for production, and ensure everything is immaculate for launch. If you're launching a product, we can even bring in compliance specialists to make sure your labels are completely retail ready.

9. Handoff & The Long Haul

Once everything is pristine, we hand over the keys. You’ll get organized, easy to use files plus walkthrough videos so your internal team knows exactly how to use them. Best part? We don’t vanish after launch—we’re always around for ongoing support when your brand layout needs to grow.
